Parking: As we anticipate high voter participation, the Board of Elections and the Town of Huntington have provided additional parking at the 1231 New York Avenue Parking lot, directly North of the Station Library. For the easiest way to vote, we ask that all voters park in the 1231 New York Avenue Lot. Town Parking Stickers will not be required during the Early Voting Period.
Want to know if you're registered? The New York State Voter Lookup page allows registered voters to verify their voter registration status, find their polling site, and track absentee ballots. Users input personal details, including name, date of birth, and address, to access their information. https://voterlookup.elections.ny.gov/
Want to know what your ballot looks like before going to the polls? The Suffolk County Board of Elections provides Sample Ballots for all of Suffolk County under the General Election Row. To find your specific ballot, you’ll need to know your Congressional, State Senate, and Assembly Districts, which you can look up using the Voter Lookup Tool. https://suffolkcountyny.gov/Departments/BOE
Will I be able to vote early if I have a print disability? Yes. In-person voting using an accessible Ballot Marking Device (“BMD”) during early voting or on Election Day is available to voters with a disability who do not want to vote using the accessible ballot system.
Voters with a print disability, which means any disability that interferes with the effective reading, writing, or use of printed material, and require a ballot with accessible features may apply using the online Accessible Ballot Application Portal (Deadline: 10/26/2024).
