From the Director’s Desk

Dear Patrons:

Hello and happy summer to all! As you think about your summer activities, whether you plan to stay local or travel a bit, I hope you will remember that your library is a great resource for you. We have museum passes to borrow free of charge and discount tickets to several popular destinations.

Our Summer Reading Club, Oceans of Possibilities, has begun and I hope you will consider joining us for the many programs we have planned, as well as participating in our reading challenges for all ages. Community-wide events we are offering include a much-needed blood drive in July and our popular shredding program at the Station Branch in August.

As you are out and about over the summer, I hope you’ll visit the other libraries in our town as part of the Huntington Libraries Passport Program. It’s a great way to see what libraries have to offer! Libraries – Read, Learn, Discover, the exhibit at Town Hall, is also open to all. I hope you have a wonderful summer and can enjoy some fun activities, whatever they might be.

If there is anything that we can do to help anyone, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at 631-427-5165, ext. 206 or email me at joanne_adam@huntlib.org.

Warm Regards,

– Joanne Adam, Library Director
