As a member of Candid’s nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, HPL provides visitors with access to a core collection of Candid’s publications and databases as well as a variety of supplementary materials and services in areas useful to grantseekers. Foundation Directory Online Professional

HPL provides free public access for grant seekers of 501(c)(3) organizations to the newly designed Foundation Directory Online Professional, containing the most exhaustive and up-to-date knowledge and insight on the social sector to fuel any fundraising mission. Expanded, in-depth profiles of each grantmaker plus inside looks at the grants they’ve actually made keep your organization operating at peak effectiveness.

FDO Professional includes:

Grants to Individuals

HPL provides access to Candid’s Grants to Individuals, an online database of nearly 10,000 grantmakers funding students, artists, researchers and other individual grantseekers through scholarships, grants and fellowships. Information contained about each funder includes application information, limitations on funding and financial data. The database also provides direct access to RFPs for individuals not associated with a nonprofit right on its homepage.

Funds for Coronavirus Relief:

Candid has compiled a list of funds specifically established in the wake of coronavirus. The list focuses on funds hosted at US-based foundations that serve nonprofits, though others outside of this criteria may appear as well. See:

At Candid Learning, you will find training, resources and other learning tools to help nonprofits more effectively operate.
