The Winter Solstice on December 21st marks the shortest day of the year and is the official start to winter.
It also signifies a returning to the light, as daylight hours will begin to increase after this day, bringing the promise of spring. Join us for a gentle grounding class where we will practice in candlelight, invoking both the darkness of winter and the light of spring that we have to look forward to. Participants should be able to get up and down off the floor, perform a sun salutation and be in general good health for this movement-based class. Please bring a yoga mat and any props that you require. Registration is required. HPL cardholders only.
