Originally recorded this spring, this video presentation imparts the beauty and function of the wetlands and thriving nature park on Huntington Harbor, and explains why changes to this delicate ecosystem can imperil our quality of life. Learn why the park was named an “important area of global priority” by the National Audubon Society. A live panel discussion and Q & A will follow and include David Jakim along with members of the Coindre Hall Park Community, Inc. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about a treasured historic park and how to protect it! Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
