Attention true crime lovers - join us for a new monthly True Crime Club. This month we will be discussing the Defeo Family murders.

Attention true crime lovers - join us for a new monthly True Crime Club. Each month will focus on a different true crime case with theories, suspects and coverage being discussed. Interviews and videos will also be used to analyze the details of the different cases.

The DeFeo murders rocked the sleepy Long Island town of Amityville, sparking a nationwide obsession that would culminate with the legendary Amityville Horror novel and film series. Join author Robert P. Ottone as he discusses aspects of the case that might just change your mind about the DeFeos and the “haunting” that followed.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
