Get in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day with a lecture on John Ford’s “The Quiet Man.”
Film Historian Larry Wolff presents the background and behind-the-scenes stories of the making of the classic Irish and American love story "The Quiet Man." You’ll learn how the ending almost wasn’t included in the final cut! After the presentation, there will be film highlights shown. A book and memorabilia collection will also be on display for attendees to view. Registration is required. Open to all.
The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
