Preserving Your Organic Harvest

Organic growing consultant Renato Stafford will teach you how to preserve your garden harvest for the year to come.

Join Renato Stafford to learn what you can do with your seasonal harvest to preserve it for the entire year. Topics covered include: canning foods, storing root vegetables, fermenting, freezing and dehydrating. During this class Renato will demonstrate how to can tomatoes, and make delicious crispy dill pickles. He will have healthy tasty samples for all participants. Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
