Propaganda is an attempt of an individual or group of individuals to promote or publicize a political cause or point of view.
In this lecture, we will discuss current uses, which media outlets rely on the heavy use of propaganda including newsletters, television and internet sites and how to determine if and how you are being influenced by propaganda. Longtime resident Milton Bloch will be leading this discussion.
The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
