Join Diane Block and Terry Batts for a performance where they explore the point at which music and dance meet.
Diane Block, violinist, and Terry Batts, cellist, became friends and musical collaborators while studying at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. Come journey with them as they perform their newest musical program which has proven most popular yet! Gemini Journey will explore music and the dance: the point at which music and dance meet. You will hear a diverse and colorful set that includes the waltz, tango, flamenco, ragtime and mambo from Broadway, film and jazz idioms. Fred Simpson, percussionist, will add just enough spice and verve to the mix. They are sure to enlighten and entertain and get those feet tapping in your seats—or even dancing in the aisles! Registration is required. Open to all.
