Join Lauren Vlachos, Executive Director of the Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center, as she shares practical advice on understanding dementia, spotting early signs, and effective communication strategies for caregivers. Lauren will also demonstrate the Huntington Public Library's new themed Cognitive Care Kits — high-quality puzzles, books, conversation cards, fidget tools, and art supplies designed to spark joy, reduce agitation, and create meaningful moments with loved ones. Registration is required.
