There are no movies like “Galaxy Goodfellas” or “Godfather of Mars.”

However, there is a fun sub-genre of science fiction films depicting crimes committed in outer space. Long Island based film historian Glenn Andreiev presents a talk on felonies beyond the stars with such films and shows such as Outland, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Trek and more, including rarely seen 1950's films such as Spaceways. Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
