Join local author and Professor Ann Helfgott for a brief reading and talk about her historical fiction novel The Naomi Scrolls: A Midrashic Love Story.

Imagine that a momentous archeological find has rocked the world of biblical scholarship: four scrolls dating from over 3,000 years ago have been unearthed in the city of Bethlehem. To add to the excitement, the scrolls were authored by a woman: Naomi, the beloved mother-in-law in the Book of Ruth. A Q&A and book signing will follow the presentation. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
