Main AuditoriumHorseshoe crabs are fascinating ancient creatures that have existed for 450 million years and survived five mass extinction events, but can they survive humans?
Join Christine Suter, executive director of Friends of the Bay and vice president of the Huntington-Oyster Bay Audubon Society, to learn about the natural history of horseshoe crabs, their relationship to migratory shorebirds, the use of their blood in the biomedical industry, and conservation efforts. Registration is required. Open to all.
Huntington Public Library Main Building
The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
