If you have taken a beginner's Mah Jongg class before and have practiced playing, this class is for you!

Instructor Lorie will outline strategies for choosing a hand, the Charleston, game play, joker usage, backup hands, and understanding the 2026 card. This is a hands-on class with tips and tricks to up your game and feel more confident playing! Students will need to bring their 2026 Mah Jongg card to class each week. This class is for intermediate players. Registration is required. HPL cardholders only.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
