Join historian Elizabeth Kahn Kaplan as she discusses the Washington Crossing the Delaware and the story behind the painting.

She will talk about the iconic painting and relate the truth about that fateful night and the following day, when General George Washington and his rag-tag army defeated the Hessians. Presented by the Huntington area libraries. Registration is required to receive a zoom link to attend the program. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
