Main AuditoriumIn honor of the upcoming Semiquincentennial, this captivating one-hour presentation uncovers the little-known but critically important role Long Island played during the American Revolution.
Attendees will be immersed in the dangerous world of the Culper Spy Ring, an intricate web of espionage organized under George Washington’s direction and operating across Long Island. Presented by Kimberly Phyfe of the Suffolk 250 Planning Commission. Kimberly Phyfe is a writer, photographer, public speaker, and podcaster. She works as the Community Engagement Manager at Three Village Historical Society & Museum in Setauket. Kimberly serves on the planning commission for Long Island 250, co-chairing the passport and culinary committees, and is a Trustee of the Long Island Museum Association. Registration is required. Open to all.
Huntington Public Library Main Building
The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
