Travel through the alphabet as this charming story brings the library to life, inspired by the real-life tale of a girl who lived in the New York Public Library in the 1920s. Each letter reveals something new about literature, music, and history—perfect for curious young readers and families.

Plus, don’t miss the art!
Original illustrations from the book will be displayed in the auditorium, where kids and families can enjoy a playful eye-spy adventure while exploring the artwork.

Come meet the author, discover the magic of the library, and celebrate stories, art, and imagination together! Perfect for children, families, and anyone who loves books and creativity.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
