Once a month, read an assigned play then meet to discuss and read selected scenes aloud to add a deeper understanding of the work.

This month's play is The Iceman Cometh by Eugene O'Neill – Acts 1 & 2. 

Synopsis: In New York City in 1912, the residents of Harry Hope's flophouse live their dead-end alcoholic lives in pursuit of the next free drink. When a favorite regular is promised to attend Harry's birthday party, the residents hope for a wild time, until their favorite drunk shows up sober.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
