Join us for a guided bus and walking tour of West Point US military Academy, which tells the story of West Point, its role in the Revolution, its famous history, along with stories of graduates who helped shape our nation. The tour makes a stop at Cadet Chapel, the Plain, which is the Cadet academic area, and Trophy Point with the million-dollar view overlooking the Hudson River. The day begins with a buffet luncheon at the historic Thayer Hotel.
Fee: $170 per person (18+) and includes transportation, lunch, tours, and all gratuities.
Please note: Real ID/Enhanced driver's license, retired military ID, DOD Common Access Card, or a service-connected Veterans Card is required for entry to West Point OR regular ID with a passport, Social Security card, or birth certificate.
Registration begins Monday, January 5th and is in-person only. Payment is due at the time of registration. No refunds unless we can fill your space from a waiting list. Please make checks payable to the Huntington Public Library.
The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
