This month we are reading Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing. In the heart of winter, we turn to one of the greatest tales of endurance in the cold! Brave the ice-bound seas with Sir Ernest Shackleton and his crew in this extraordinary survival story.  We will pair our reading with a dive into the archives from Cold Spring's own arctic shipwrecks, uncovering tales of danger and disaster for sailors navigating the frozen seas.
