We're excited to announce that we are participating in The Great Give Back, a community service initiative launched by the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, in collaboration with the Nassau Library System. The Great Give Back aims to offer patrons of New York State Public Libraries a meaningful opportunity to engage in service-oriented experiences.
Community is at the heart of the Huntington Public Library, and we are dedicated to supporting our community members. Both of our locations feature a free mini food pantry and a comfort care station. Join us on Saturday, October 18, for a collection drive to help us keep our food pantries and comfort care stations fully stocked. Donations can be dropped off on Saturday, October 18 to the Main Library's driveway (on Prospect Street). Library staff will be there to collect donations.
The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
