Seed Saving 101 will introduce basic seed saving concepts and techniques for beginners, including what seeds can be easily saved and how to plan your garden for optimal results.

Seed saving is an important tradition that encourages self-reliance, brings communities together, preserves valuable heirloom varieties and helps to identify and stimulate the development of locally-adapted varieties. Learn this age-old skill and become more self-reliant! Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
