A book club for adults 18-years and older with developmental disabilities.
Adults 18-years and older with developmental disabilities meet once a week, in-person or via ZOOM, to form friendships through reading and talking about books. All are welcome, regardless of reading level. We are enjoying What Do You Want on Your Pancakes? Short Stories for All by Tom Fish, Gail Ritter, Anke Gross-Kunkel, and Desi Doolin. The Station Branch is located south of the LIRR train station on New York Avenue (Route 110). It has public computers for children, teen and adults, a large community room on the second floor as well as five smaller meeting rooms and a classroom style training room.
