Station Teen Territory, HPL Adult Zoom

A book club for adults 18-years and older with developmental disabilities.

Adults 18-years and older with developmental disabilities meet once a week, in-person or via ZOOM, to form friendships through reading and talking about books.  All are welcome, regardless of reading level.  We are currently reading What is the story of Willy Wonka? by Steve Korté (Author) and Jake Murray (Illustrator).  Who Was Beatrix Potter? by Sarah Fabiny (Author), and Mike Lacey (Illustrator) is the book “on deck”.  All book choices are voted on by the Club members.  For more information, contact Librarian and Facilitator Maureen Comerford at 631-421-5053, ext. 134, or email maureen_comerford@huntlib.org.  Click here to check out the Next Chapter Book Club’s international website.  Open to all.

About the branch

The Station Branch is located south of the LIRR train station on New York Avenue (Route 110). It has public computers for children, teen and adults, a large community room on the second floor as well as five smaller meeting rooms and a classroom style training room.
