What They're NOT Telling You About Our Electric System

Join Reimagine LIPA to learn about how to improve our electric system on Long Island and the Rockaways. Topics covered will include: Who owns the electric grid?; The electric system explained; Current LIPA structure; Problems & How to Fix Them; And most importantly, is our electric system storm-prepared? Reimagine LIPA is made up of 100 grassroots organizations from Long Island, the Rockaways, and around New York State that believe in educating the public about the benefits of a fully public electric system. Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
