The average American pays more income taxes than necessary simply because of a failure to understand the tax code and by not capitalizing on opportunities permitted.

This class demonstrates how an informed taxpayer can reduce his tax burden by planning and deploying strategies designed to take full advantage of the code’s allowances, credits and deductions. The presentation also examines the most important line item on Form 1040. Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
