American Indians are as diverse as the countries of Europe. Each tribe has a history and unique culture of its own.

This program will be taught in two parts by Chet Lukaszewski, a retired high school Social Studies teacher, who has studied at the Institute of American Indian Arts, worked with Navajo leaders and visited tribal facilities in Oklahoma, along with developing and teaching an American Indian Studies course. Please stop by the main floor display cases to view projects researched and created in Chet’s American Indian Studies classes.

In this class, an overview of the tribes within the main geographic regions in the United States will be presented. Registration is required. Open to all.
