Join us for a discussion of The One-in-a-Million Boy by Monica Wood.

When his son dies, guitarist and absentee father, Quinn Porter decides to complete his son’s unfinished Boy Scout merit badge requirements by helping 104-year-old Ona Vitkus. For seven weeks, Quinn does yardwork and forges a friendship that helps him get to know the son he never understood. Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
