Each month, join librarian Donna Mazovec on ZOOM to discuss the current book pick, sometimes joined by a special guest speaker! Please join us in August for a discussion and zoom interview with I.S. Berry, a former CIA officer turned author, who has clinched the prestigious 2024 Edgar Award for Best First Novel by an American author for "The Peacock and The Sparrow." Ilana will be joined by Lindsay Moran, another spy turned author, who has written the memoir "Blowing My Cover." They will be speaking about spying and writing, including life as female spies.

The Peacock and the Sparrow Synopsis: Stationed in Bahrain for his final tour, world-weary CIA spy Shane Collins is ready to return home until he meets a beautiful and enigmatic artist, but before he can win her love, he is caught in the crosshairs of a revolution and must use his skills to navigate a bloody uprising.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
