Aged, Blind, Disabled Program
NSHC is subcontracted by the Suffolk County Department of Social Services to provide enrollment assistance in various Medicaid programs for the aged, blind and disabled populations in the Nassau and Suffolk counties. Enrollment occurs at community sites such as libraries, churches, community centers and selected hospitals. Home visits are available on an as-needed basis.
The Station Branch is located south of the LIRR train station on New York Avenue (Route 110). It has public computers for children, teen and adults, a large community room on the second floor as well as five smaller meeting rooms and a classroom style training room.
