Join film historian Larry Wolff to learn about the making of “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein” and how it almost was never filmed!

This film still holds many laughs even after more than seventy five years! Hilarious film highlights follow the Power Point presentation – a perfect way to begin the Halloween season. See why no one could top Lou Costello in displaying on screen fright as “The Boys” tangle with Universal’s classic monsters as the monsters took a final screen bow - Frankenstein’s Monster, The Wolfman and the immortal Count Dracula! Learn about the monster that didn’t make it into the film. Halloween music and an autograph, memorabilia and book display will round out this presentation. Registration is required. Open to all.

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
