Behind the Scenes Curator Tour: The Walt Whitman Birthplace

Join us for an exclusive tour of Walt Whitman’s birthplace with Curator/Historian Margaret Guardi.

Step back in time to 1821 and get a glimpse into Walt’s formative years on Long Island. Participants will be treated to a special viewing of five artifacts from our private collection. Registration is required. HPL
cardholders only.

This tour will take place offsite at the Walt Whitman Birthplace, located at 246 Old Walt Whitman Rd, Huntington Station, NY 11746. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
